Personal Statement
My name is Terry Brooks. I am a Junior at Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, KY.
I am a Track athlete and run the 100m, 200m and 400m as well as relays. I am very proud to say that I was the 2019 KTCCCA Middle School State Champion in the 400 meter dash and State Qualifier for the 2021 Season in the 200 and 400 meter dash. The 2020 Track Season was cancelled due to COVID.
During the off season, I am working out in the gym and on the field to build both my strength and speed in effort to maintain my status as the fastest kid on the field and the surest tackler.
Not only am I dedicated to Track, but I am also consistent in the classroom where I maintain A’& B Honor Roll. When I graduate, I would like to pursue a Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Sports Therapy or Physical Therapy. I like the idea of helping people and feel like helping people rehabilitate themselves following injuries or surgeries would be both rewarding and challenging. I am not sold on any one College just yet I just want to find a good school academically and athletically that will allow me to reach and exceed my potential both on and off the field.
