Personal Statement
Football has been my life since I was in second grade. Without this amazing sport I would be lost. Football is the reason I am the man I am today. It's the reason I have good grades and care about school. It has built me into a better person in every aspect of life. Football is not a sport its a passion, it's a brotherhood and its family. I consider my teammates and coaches as family and they play a huge role in my life. Growing up playing football Ive learned to play many roles and responsibilities. Youth league I learned the fundamentals; learned how to run the offense in middle school while wining an MVP and being brought up to play freshman as an 8th grader. Then grinding in the weight room and excelling as a freshman while learning how to play 6A high school football. While countless people told me I was too small and out of shape to play on the varsity team my sophomore year. Then ended up working my tail off to get the starting center position after an outstanding summer both on the field/track and in the weight room
while not missing a single practice. And after being to small, I ended up being twice as strong as many players much bigger than me and even our D1 bound tackle. I was in the 800 pound club as a senior and in the 1,000 pound club as a junior and a senior. I was also a team Captin as a junior. Football is my life and it is my goal to play college football and I promise to be a leader and the hardest working player on the team.
