Charles Miller '26 Recruiting Profile

I will be an incoming Freshman at DuPont Manual high School in Louisville, Kentucky in the Summer of 2022.  I started organized football in the Sixth Grade and believe that I have the potential to really grow as a player during my High School career.  I've played both the defensive end position and the Mike and Will Linebacker positions in Middle School.  However, I have hit a growth spurt recently and coupled with my dedication to weight training to developing lateral quickness, I believe that middle linebacker may be the position for me in High School and going forward.  I made the Eighth Grade, Region Two Middle School All-Star Team this year and recently played in a series of games against other Middle School All-Stars in the State of Kentucky.  This was a great experience and a great opportunity to learn more about the Middle Linebacker position.

My father played high school and college football as a quarterback.  He was 6'2" and around 215-200lbs during his college days.  i expect to be at least his size if not taller based upon my current size at the end of my Eight Grade year--5'10" and 167lbs. 

I also consider myself a leader on the field.  I like to lead by example as well as by speaking with the other players on my team.  I also believe that academics are a priority for success both on and off the field, and for my future.  I'm hopeful that there is some interest from various colleges in watching me grow as a player, leader, and a young man.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
