Personal Statement
My name is Travis Egan. I am a 2023 QB / LB with a strong desire to become the fourth division one student-athlete in my household. My three siblings and I were raised on the principle that, with hard work anything can be accomplished. I am determined to achieve my goal of playing at the collegiate level, at any position that benefits the team. Through my relentless work ethic and confidence in my ability, I will have an impact on your organization if given the opportunity.
As a demonstration of my determination, during my sophomore year I endured a season-long battle splitting reps with a returning senior for the starting Quarterback position. During the previous season, he was named district player of the year, was a great leader, and our team immensely respected him. Through my perseverance, I was determined to outwork him at every level and was finally awarded the starting position in the last game of the season heading into the playoffs. In my first full game as the starter we broke the school record for passing yards in a game (32-45 458 yds). I look forward to the adversity and challenges that await at the next level. Through my early life experiences, I will be prepared to face them head-on.
