Alexander Garner '12 Recruiting Profile

I believe in hard work, skill and determination. I live these principles by never missing practice, fully supporting my team, and by playing with a passion.I have started as an offensive/defensive lineman since my freshman year. During my junior season (2010), I was awarded "best lineman/best overall defensive player" in four games, including one playoff game, and accumulated over 100 total tackles on defense. In 2009 and 2011, I was selected to the Louisville Courier-Journal Kentucky All-State/Honorable Mention Team (defensive line and offensive line respectively). On January 7, 2012, I played defensive end in the annual Kentucky-Tennessee Border Bowl game.I'm a Christian athlete who strongly believes in high moral standards and the need to do "what's right" in everything that I do - both on and off the football field. I look forward to playing college football at the highest competition level possible. I wish to obtain a degree in education and coach football upon graduation.Thank you for your time and interest.
