College Career Info: I graduated from high school in 2010 and committed to Tulane University on a full athletic scholarship in the position of punter. Upon graduation from Tulane with a Bachelors degree in Communications in May, 2014, I will have one year of athletic eligibility remaining. I am looking to attend a school with a graduate degree in Sports Management/Marketing where I can play football for my remaining year of eligibility. At Tulane, I was a two year letterman and ranked 42nd in the country at the position of punter after my sophomore year. I was also selected "Special Teams Player of the Week" for Conference USA during my freshman year. This was the first time in a decade that a punter at Tulane had received this honor. In my career at Tulane, I started in 25 games, with 131 punts. My longest punt was 73 yards, I forced 33 fair catches and had 31 punts inside the 20. Off the field, I was a member of the Tulane 3.0 Club (academics) for three years and class president of my community service fraternity.
High School Career Info: I regularly attended national kicking camps (Chris Sailer, Chris Boniol, Kohl's) and was rated a 5 Star, Top Five Punter by Kohl's Kicking and the #5 High School Punter in the U.S. by ESPN. In my junior year, I was named the Punter to the Louisiana All State 1st Team, the Kicker to the All Central Louisiana 1st Team, and the Kicker and Punter to the All District 1st Team. In my senior year, our record was 11-2, I kicked 18 field goals (the most in the nation), and my punting average was 43.2 yards; as a result, I was named the Punter to the Louisiana All State 1st Team, the Kicker, Punter, and Most Valuable Offensive Player of the Year to the All Central Louisiana 1st Team, and the Kicker, Punter, and Most Valuable Defensive Player of the Year to the All District 1st Team. In addition, I received the Wendy's High School Heisman Award for male athlete and was chosen to play in the All Star Bayou Bowl game between Louisiana and Texas.
I am a goal oriented, team player with strong leadership skills. Ideally, I would like to attend a school in a warmer climate because, being from Louisiana, this is what I am used to. But, I will consider attending any school that can offer me an outstanding graduate education in the field of Sports Management/Marketing and the opportunity to play the game I love. It is my dream to continue to play football at the college level and possibly go on to the NFL.
