Hey coaches out there! I am, Simon Paul Pellegrin II, and I have been playing football since I was 7. When I was young I didn’t know what to do with my free time, I was very smart but would get into miscellaneous trouble in school. When my step dad (Christopher Corbin) came into my life, he and my mother put me in football where my interest sparked in playing football. My stepdad was with me 110% of the way so, he pushed me toward my passion of playing football, he has driven me to work harder at school, he has fueled my respect and manners towards others, he and my mother have molded me into the who I am today. This is my dedication to myself, Sports, and Academics.
When I joined football I was hooked! I realized then that football is not just a sport for me, it’s a second home and family. Something that I can even look forward to dedicating my life to. All of my life I’ve loved running, working out or anything athletic. Actually, I’ve loved having an outlet, something I was actually really good at. Football has given me challenges, ways to channel aggression in a positive way through sport and fun. I love being a part of a team as well because it taught me a lot of things though out my life that not every thing can teach you like leadership skills, dedication to my team, and working with others. I’ve also earned the “Most Dedicated Player” award on the team for middle school football. I am going into high school with all honors and 3 high school credits earned. I am on a College Pathway with “TOPS” scholarship options. I hope you can see just how dedicated I am toward my future in Football and have found this useful in anyway and thank you.
