Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was eleven years old. My father was the left offensive tackle on the high school team that won the 1992 Louisiana State Championship and he has been my inspiration to become a great football player. I know playing football at the collegiate level would be a dream come true that would change my life. Playing college football and achieving a college degree are my next goals in life.
I am always working hard to become a bigger, stronger, faster, and more knowledgeable football player. I work hard on the field and off the field to become a better player. I am a team player because I focus on what is best for the team and not just myself. I am a two sport athlete playing Center in football and First base in baseball. I always want to get better at everything I do. My motto in sports is "Whatever It Takes".
In the classroom, I strive to maintain a high GPA. My parents are always motivating me to do my best in class and on the field. I am a member of the following school clubs: FCA, Foreign Language, HOSA, Beta, and FFA. I am currently the FFA Chapter Treasurer and I am also a member of the FFA Soils Judging team and Small Engines Competition Team.
I want to attend a college where I can work hard in the classroom, as well as on the football field to be the best I can be. I am open to all options presented to me and want to find the best fit at the highest level of competition possible. I hope and strive to be a role model to the younger upcoming players, my fellow peers, and my community. With hard work and focus I can become a successful leader on the field and make my parents proud of who I have become.
