Brylan Green '22 Recruiting Profile

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am Brylan Green, currently a 5’10” 160lb sophmore that attends Lafayette Christian Academy.  I am the starting DB and backup quarterback. I can  also play corner-back and receiver.  For me, football is a game that I love to play and that I have developed a great deal of respect for. I consider myself to be a great leader, an awesome teammate, extremely focused, hardworking, God fearing, and truly dedicated to anything I take part in.  These are the principals in which I live my life.  The most important thing of all is that I am a student first and an athlete second.  I’m just as dedicated in the classroom as I am on the field.  I have always surrounded myself around positive people, coaches, and teachers to assist me along the way, but most importantly, my parents have played the biggest roll in molding me.  They have provided a secure and solid foundation of balance for me on and off the field.  Being a multi-sport athlete, I have always had to balance school work, sports, community projects, and family.  I am very appreciative to have my family as a rock for me.  My most important accomplishments are that I played varsity baseball as an 8^th grader, making All-District as a center fielder.  I am also a 3x state champion in football, starting at safety and making honorable mention all-district on the best defense in the State of Louisiana as a freshman.  Also I led the defensive's  back with tackles.   I made 1st  team All-District, All-Acadiana, and All-State this year as a sophomore.  With all that I have accomplished on and off the field, and all that I have learned from all of the positive people in my life, I still strive to become a better person, student, and athlete.   Your school will find me to be an asset to your program not only as a football player, but as a genuine person.  Thanks for your willingness to invest in me and to help carry on the success of your program.
