Personal Statement
I have a strong family support system that encourages me to set goals for myself and work hard to reach them. They have taught me to believe in myself and work hard to become the best that I can be. My family has instilled in me a strong moral compass, so I believe that with God all things are possible. I am very active in my church home where I am a member of a group called Bible Boys. I also play the bass guitar for our praise and worship teams, the Youth and the Adult choirs. I understand the importance of a good education and am currently working hard to maintain a good GPA. I also work part time, while maintaining a good GPA. I believe that working part time while maintaining good grades are important life experiences. I am very dedicated to my school studies and making sure I'm on top of making good grades because school does come first. I plan on majoring in Engineering and continuing to play football at the next level. I know this will require a good attitude and discipline, so I plan on working hard as I have always done, giving a 100% and more each time. I'm the little guy on the field with a huge heart that is very aggressive and passionate about this wonderful sport called football. I started out playing football at the age of six and have been playing every since. I love the sport. Each football team I've had the privilege of being a part of, has become more of a family to me than just a team. I truly understand the value of team work. If given the privilege to compete, I know I would be a great asset, team player and contributor to any football team willing to give me a chance. I believe this because of my hard work, commitment, dedication, and practice ethic.
