I began playing football in the 6th grade. In the 8th grade I won a defensive lineman of the year award. At this point football became special and gave me aspirations to pursue. In high school I am envisioning it as a boot camp of learning to reach the next level. Now that I am going to my junior year I am realizing my future enterest in education as one day I would like to be a CEO, so pursuing an education in business it very important to me.
On the field, I view every practice as a time to improve and I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence for the team. Most of all I will strive to be a positive asset to the defense line and to the team. But most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field knowing that the way I carry myself reflects not only the team but also to my coaches, school and all who enjoy the sport of football.
As I grow spiritually, physically and mentally in my last years of high school and enter into college I vow to always stay positive, learn and train hard. Maybe someday I will be able to play for the NFL. But first thing first a college education is the most important goal at the next level. I appreciate and love my family, friends and teachers. I make this promise to myself, to always work hard and do better. I owe that to God and to the entire community.
