I am a junior and I am working on receiving a academic and athletic scholarship. When I get to college I plan to pursue a career in physical therapy or coaching. I am a hardworking smart person, and I have never been afraid to be a leader and stand up for right even if that means I have to be different from the "cool" kids. I am a versatile athlete who has participated in all 4 of the major sports(basketball, football, baseball, and track) and I have done well in them. I am also a fast learner who is easy to work with around a variety of different types of people. One reason that a think that I would be a good candidate for a college football team is my never give up attitude. For example, we didn't have a successful football season this past fall, but through every play, every quarter, every game I gave it my all because I always thought that I could make a difference. I kept in my mind that someone was watching me at all times and I never did want to have doubt in my mind that I didn't give my best effort. I have never been a trouble maker in or out of school and I hang around other positive people who also want to be successful in life. Lastly, but probably the most important reason that I think I would be a good candidate for a college football team is my intelligence. Ever since elementary school I have always made mostly A' s and some B' s on my report card. I am a member of the National Honor Society as well. Many of my teachers and peers admire me and tell me that I am a smart student and a great leader. I try to be an example for other for other student athletes so they can not only strive to do well on the field but also in the classroom. I have no problem with doing school work because I understand and support the "no pass, no play". Thank you for the opportunity and acknowledgement NCSA and I hope with your help I will be able to play college football.
