Personal Statement
To Inspire Others On and Off the Field
My dream is to be an inspiration for others. I strive every day to become a better individual in hope that others will view me as a mentor. I pray every night for the Lord to help me achieve my goals.
Since I was a little boy my goal & dream has been to play college football. As I grew older I realized college football was also a means to an education. I am aspiring to become a college football player majoring in engineering, petroleum or chemical. This career choice seems to be always challenging and the United States will depend on natural resources for many years to come.
My short term goals on the field:
- Become captain of the Many High School football team.
- Become a mentor to the MHS under classman.
- To attain a 4.8 in the 40 (went from 5.1 to a 4.9 in 4 months)
- Bench over 300 by the start of my senior year. (went from 245 to 275 in 4 months)
- I want to be the strongest guy on Many High School Football team.
- Play both ways, offense & defense my senior year. I have played ever position on the offensive line, including TE. I have played nose guard and DE, I would like to play some Mike Linebacker my senior year.
My short term goal in the class room:
- Improve my overall GPA while taking advanced college prerequisites.
- Improve my ACT score.
As for my long term goals, I want to play college football and get a quality education, so I will be able to work in challenging career field to provide well for a family I hope to have one day and to give back to my community.
