Colby Delahoussaye '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colby Delahoussaye. I am the plackekicker for the New Iberia Senior High Yellow Jackets. I live in New Iberia, Louisiana and belong to the class of 2012. This year, in football, I was awarded 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Acadiana, 1st Team All-State, and Kohls Kicking All-American Honorable Mention. Also, I am currently ranked in the top ten kicking prospects in the nation for the class of 2012 by kohlskicking.com. Along with these athletic honors I also still maintain a 4.0 GPA.
I began kicking in the 7th grade and have loved it ever since. Also, since then it has been my goal and dream to play football in college. I have been working very hard to reach this goal, whether it is in the weight room, the field, or in the classroom, i have been giving 100%. I get along with everybody and do like meeting new people. I would like to go to a college that would push me to become a better athlete as well as a better person. I grew up in a family where character and a good reputation is important so I am looking for a college that feels the same.
