I played football for my local recreation league when I was younger. While I played for the Pearl River Eagles, we never won a game, but I have learned so much about myself as an athlete. I have learned the fundamentals of the game itself, how to be a team player and leader. It isn't about winning the game, but playing that game to the best of my ability and learning something from every play and teammate to better ourselves for the next one. During my years, I have received numerous game MVP awards as well as offensive player of the year and team captain. I also participated in the 2016 FBU camp in Lafayette and was awarded an invitation to the 2016 Top Gun camp in Rock Hill, SC. I also attended Diamond All American games in Myrtle Beach,SC in December of 2017. I am a Freshman in High School and got offered a starting position and an invitation to be on the Varsity football team, where is was one of two Freshman that ever received playing time and I have lettered.
I have always taken pride in my performance not only on the field, but off the field as well. My grades and extra curricular activities are very important to me. I have maintained a 3.0 GPA and always push myself to the next level. I continuously set my standards and goals high. There is no room for failure in my book. During high school, I plan to be the best student athlete I can be and I will strive for perfection in every way possible so I can get to the next level of my life and that is to play for college and obtain my degree in engineering.
