Personal Statement
Hello coach, my name is Brandon Hayden, Kicker for Sulphur High School located in Sulphur Louisiana-Class of 2018. I have an average kickoff distance of 64 yards and can hit field goals from the ground anywhere from 45 yards to PAT's. In addition to playing football I am also highly competitive in Track. I run in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles with best times of 15.03 and 41.05. With hard work and dedication I was able to beat the Sulphur High School record in 300 meter hurdles this year. I have a strong relationship with my family and coaches, and I feel that they have had a strong influenced in who I am today.
I have been involved in athletics ever since I was 4 years old. I feel that I have become a more diverse person through playing sports. They have taught me that nothing is given and everything is earned. They have also taught me that with every challenge there comes obstacles, but by working through those obstacles, one can achieve greatness.
On a more personally note, I love to fish and play guitar, both activities relax me and bring me closer to who I really am.
