I am interested in playing college football because I have learned so much from the coaches and players on my high school team and feel that playing in college would allow me to continue learning how to maximize my athletic ability while meeting great teammates. As a larger guy, I grew so quickly when I was younger that it was difficult for me to find sports that were suited for my body. When I was old enough to begin playing tackle football, I realized that I had found my place. My coaches have told me that I am very coachable and I am known to have a great work ethic in the gym and on the field. I enjoy mentoring younger players in practices and in kiddie camps and interacting with individuals with different needs at school and at my mother's pediatric therapy clinic. My older sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 10. Watching her work so hard to meet her goals while overcoming those challenges has taught me that there is nothing that I can't do if I put in the effort.
