Daniel Tucker '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1", 190 lb Senior wing back/tailback/defensive back from Hartland ME. I play for Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, Maine and was honored to be selected by my coaches and teammates as a Captain in both my junior and senior year. I have played football since the 5th grade, and have started on my high school team since I was a sophomore. I have a plus 37 inch vertical leap, run the 100m in under 11.5 seconds, the 40 in 4.6 in my only timed attempt , and can squat 435#, dead lift 435 and bench 215. My box squat of 535# set the school record. My Junior year I was selected to the 2nd Team All-Conference Defensive team at Corner Back, and Honorable Mention at wing back/h-back. I scored 11 touchdowns, both as a wide receiver and running back in 8 games my junior year, and 11 more this year, primarily as a tailback where I played most of the time due to teammate injuries-I am also an excellent wide/slot receiver, and was second in the league with 23 catches in 8 games my junior year. I led the league in tackles as a junior, and was player of the week on offense in 2009. At the close of the season this year I was honored to be selected First Team All-Conference on both offense and defense. I have well above average speed,a very good vertical leap, excellent hands and a good work ethic. I love the weight room, and work out all year long. I always work hard, motivate my team and personally try to improve every day. I am willing to play wherever my coaches feel I can best help the team. My goal is to get a solid education and play college football at the highest level that I can. I have no real preference for geographic location or school enrollment size. I know that if you ask my Coaches and AD, as well as all the opposing coaches I have competed against they will tell you that I am a leader and can do whatever I set out to do. Thank you.
