Seth Beyea '22 Recruiting Profile

My sophomore year of high school was the biggest learning year for me. That year we won every game in the regular season, but lost the State Championship. We went in cocky and it showed. When the it was over, I realized that nothing is ever given to you. You don’t win a game just by your reputation. 

I have come to realize that your attitude is what determines who wins and who loses. This is why I go into every game and every lift with the mindset to dominate. I put it all out there and leave everything on the field because after it’s all said and done, there’s no getting it back. I don’t want to be able to look back and say “I wish I’d gone a little harder on this play” or “I wish I’d done that extra rep”.  This attitude also carries over into the classroom. I strive to work harder than any of my peers and push myself to get the top of my class.  I am looking for a college that will match this mindset and push me both academically and athletically.
