Personal Statement
My name is Michael McGonagle, I am a 6-foot, 205-pound running back and defensive end from Yarmouth Maine. I have started on both sides of the ball at Yarmouth Highschool for two years and maintained a 3.5 GPA. In those years I have Shattered multiple school records including the single-season rushing record with 2565 yards, the record for most points scored in a single season with 172 points, and tying the record for most sacks in a season with 8. I've also received multiple athletic awards including 1st team all-conference, offensive player of the year, and defensive player of the year.
As a strong and committed student, I'm looking for a college that will challenge me academically and prepare me well for a career in business, law, or medicine. I'm interested in attending a school that is in the New England region, however, I am willing to be further from home for the right opportunity.
