My goal is to be a successful football player at the college level while striving for academic excellence. I have played football since the age of 5 and with each year I continue to strive for greatness. I am a four sport athlete: football, lacrosse, wrestling, and boxing. I work part-time on the weekends for a community church and I volunteer at a local homeless shelter, all while maintaining a 3.36 GPA. My goal is to graduate with at least a 3.5 GPA. My academic achievements have earned me 2nd honors or Principle's List every semester . Update: Due to a strong academic junior year, my current GPA is a 3.47.
I am also a great student on the football field as well. As a freshman, I was a second string offensive and defensive lineman. As a sophomore, I was asked to take on the role as the Center. Although playing center was not new to me, it still required me to work harder and practice even after scheduled practice sessions had ended. With much will and determination, I was able to help lead my team to the MIAA-B conference JV championship and also win the championship title. I'm currently training for the 2018 season by participating in weight training and speed and agility camps. I'm a very coachable player who is willing to play any role that a coach seems fit. I am looking forward to playing for a college team that is looking for a determined and hard working young man.
