Personal Statement
I know what it feels like to be on a 1-9 team and I know what it feels like to be on a 13-0 county championship team. I learn from every loss and try to improve upon my skills. I have been playing football since I was eight years old. I first became interested in football when i watched film of Ronnie Lott. I loved the intensity and passion Lott had for the game and it inspired me to play. I learned many things about myself from playing football. Most of all, I learned that I push myself to the limit to achieve any of my goals. Football has taught me sportsmanship, sacrifice, and commitment.
As a team leader and current captain, I encourage my teammates to do their best. I encourage them to attend coach class to raise their grades. I encourge them to go to the weight room, and to practice every day. I want my team to succeed and know that change has to happen in order to do so. I know I have the talent, time management, and commitment to compete accedemically and athletically in college. I am a leader and will make a difference on any team I play for.
