I had a really rough first years in high school. My sister died, I hurt my thumb and needed surgery, I had a concussion, and I had a combination sinus infection and flu that took me a long time to get over. I was far behind. I caught up, but too late.
In realizing that football can really be an option for me, I went to a summer tutor to prepare me for junior year hard educational workload. I'm completed 2 AP (Advanced Placement) classes, as well as Physics, History, and Trig and got As and Bs. I feel this shows schools how hard I'm willing to work off the field as well as on.
I love to build things and would love to get into some kind of engineering one day, but since I work in my dad's business I am thinking about getting into business to work with him. My goal is to study engineering or business in college, while also enjoying the sport that I love.
I also like to play doubles tournaments in volleyball with my dad, brother and sister. We practice most weekends together and play several summer tournaments. I wanted to play in high school, but they won't let me do both and I love football more.
I prefer DL, but my coach plays me more on OL. I play where he needs me and where I will be the biggest impact for the team.
