Hi, I'm Isaya Blackmon and I'm 15 years old. I go to Bowie High school in Maryland, Bowie and I play Wide Receiver and football is the sport I'm most passionate about. My first time playing football on a team was when I was 6yrs old and it was flag football. I then began to play tackle football at 12 yrs old. Ever since then, I have had collegiate goals and aspirations for my self in the future. My collegiate goals are to be the best possible football player at my position at a college of my choice and preferences. They also include having the right coaches and teammates that will help me complete this goal. My aspirations include being able to experience the excitement and competition of football at the college level. What makes me a good candidate for any college team is that I know the competition it is for both on the field and in the classroom to get accepted into a college and this is part of the reason I like to play football. What makes me different from other recruits is that my character includes enjoying and admiring the hard work and competition that football at the college level brings you. Also, my athletics makes me different from other recruits because I can get down the field faster than most people and I know how to go up and catch the ball at the highest point with my hands and not my chest. Finally, my academics makes me different from most recruits because my work ethics on the field reflect on what I do in the classroom. I fight to get the best possible grade there is on any assignment.
