I could say how talented I am playing the sport of football, which I love. But I will say that I am a very coachable young man that plays with grit, determination and has had success on the field . I want to translate how I play on the field into my life. As a student athlete, you have to balanced and be responsible for your success and it takes a lot of hard work. Hard work is one thing that I am not afraid of because nothing is easy and you must put in the work to become great. You should never rest on improving your skills and learning to become better. No one is at the top of the game in life or on the field so you have to have the willingness to change and grow. Hard work is not for a t-shirt and not for show. So I am not delusional to think that because you have talent in a sport that sacrifices do not come with it. The different if you look at me is that I know it is my responsibility to myself and your team that I put my best self out there all the time. Without doing so, would not be fair to me or the team.
I have my accomplishments like team captain, defensive player of the year for my team and selected at a national camp for my position of running back. But I am aware enough to know that you have continue to grind and fight for your team. Football is not an individual sport. You can be a great player but you can not win a game alone. My goal is to play for a college football team where I am contributing member that will support the mission of the program.
