My name is Jonathan Wynn and I’m a rising sophomore attending St. Mary’s Ryken High School in Leonardtown, Maryland. I began playing tackle football at 5 years old and since then I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I am a member of the Varsity Track and Field team at Ryken as a 100m, 200m sprinter as well as a valuable member of the 4x100 relay team.
I have impeccable work ethic on and off the field. I am consistently working to improve my performance and skills by training diligently in the off season. I am a coachable individual with a “can do” attitude always responsive to change. I strive to encourage my teammates to work as a unit and to aim to be the best in all endeavors.
I am equally dedicated to my academic course work which consist of Honor level courses. I ended my freshman year with a 3.3 cumulative GPA securing recognition on the Principals and Presidents Honor Roll(s), respectively. I also devote time to volunteer at my local community nursing home.
Passionate is a simple word that describes my desire to play football at the collegiate level. Organized sports plays a significant role in my life as I am developing great leadership skills, discipline and the meaning of team work.
My desire is to attend a college/university that affords the opportunity to prepare me to pursue a rewarding career in possible federal law enforcement. In addition, I hope to find the ultimate match that will afford me the opportunity to play at the next level.
