Brian Plummer '20 Recruiting Profile

I believe that success comes from hard work.  When I was 9 years old I started my first business cutting lawns with a $20 lawn mower.  I cut lawns for five years until I had earned enough to buy a commercial waterman's license and begin crabbing.  Each summer since, I get up at 2:30am most days, load my equipment and lines and hit the water to find the days catch.  I get home by 11am, sort and sell, re-bait my lines and I get ready for the next day.  My business, Grays Creek Crab Company, is successful because I am tenacious.  I learn from other watermen, apply those lessons to my work and reap the rewards.  I have applied that same determination, drive and willingness to learn from my coaches on the football field and it has made me a successful player.  Determination, work ethic and drive will also guide my future success in college and beyond.
