First, my goal in life is to be the best person I can be. To be altruistic and authentic in every aspect, and to make a positive contribution to my community. Collegiately, my desire is to study Communications, specifically Broadcast Journalism. Though I would love to develop my football skills to reach the ultimate level of the NFL, I understand the variables associated and even as I keep that goal at heart, will keep a pragmatic attitude. I plan on graduating in four years.
Over the years I have grown from what could be called a follower, into a leader. It wasn't an easy transition. It was comfortable to just lag behind the crowd and do what "they" did. As my self-confidence grew, so did my ability to stand in front and not behind. It's that growth and desire that I will bring to your team. In addition, I believe my football IQ will be a benefit. Unlike so many of my teammates, I love the film room. To study my mistakes, correct them. To study my opponents weaknesses in preparation for taking advantage of them on the field. Show me a slight lean, a change in the placement of your feet, your stance, and I will take that cue to use against you. Football is as much a mental game as it is physical.
I would appreciate the opportunity to chat with you further about what else I can bring to your program, and do so at your convenience.
