Personal Statement
My name is Elijah Bailey- Lowden, and I am a well-rounded, faithfully grounded and aggressive student athlete. I work hard in the classroom, as well as on the football field. I am looking for a school with a strong academic program that will help position me to be successful in the world of work. My dream is to play football while I am completing a Bachelor’s Degree. In my profile I am identified as playing Safety and I will strive to be an asset in every aspect of that role. You should also know that I was taught in youth football, that you become valuable to your team, when you are simply a football player being asked to play a particular position. Therefore, as a football player, I will not only commit to my skill set, but I will eagerly play wherever I am told I can best help the team. I strive to be a strong link in the team chain. I am passionate and have been told that I bring a lot of infectious positive energy to the squad. I am also highly competitive and persistent. For me, quitting is never an option. I will always commit to any task until my tank is completely empty and encourage my teammates to do the same. Finally, I know that who I am is as important as what I do. I am a reflection of my team and school, therefore, I will strive to always present myself as a young man of integrity. I’ll be the first to admit that there isn't a lot of inflated stats with me, however what you will get with choosing me, is a strong student athlete, who loves God, his family, friends and teammates. You can be sure that I will be one of, if not THE hardest worker on the team. Thank you for any considerations you might give me! If you believe I am not a good fit for your program, I will gladly take any recommendations you might have to increase my chances of playing elsewhere.
