Senior Highlight ...Personal Statement
I am Jared Hardie, a junior who attends Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland. I am 6 ft tall and 207 pounds. At Good Counsel, I am a member of the football team. I have been especially blessed with a gift to play football. As a sophomore I earned the starting Middle Linebacker position. This past season, I was selected to first-team All Conference. I have been playing football since I was eleven years old, and it has always been my dream to play at a major Division 1 football program. I am interested in Sports Broadcasting and Kinesiology (sports medicine), however, I have not decided on a major at this time. I am a honor roll student with a 3.4 GPA and a member of the International Baccalaureate program. Being the son of a military father, I am accustomed to moving around, therefore, I am willing to attend any college or university that is willing to provide me with an opportunity to pursue my football passion and earn my degree.
