Dear Future Coach,
My name is David Parker Dell. If your reading this then you know that I am interested in playing football at a four year college. You should consider me as a potential member for your team due to my attributes I can bring to the team. I am a student-athlete with a 4.35 GPA. My high GPA illustrates my diligence and hard work I insert into my studies and school. I then carry my diligence and hard work over on to the football field and weight room. I strive to be the best at all I do by outworking my opponents in the weight room and on the football and practice field. All of my football and basketball coaches can verify my diligence and my excellent work ethics and the can state that I am the hardest working player on the team and that I represent my school and community proudly. To further emphasize my hard work ethic, I would like to conclude that I strive and go full out to achieve all my goals and I thrive when faced with adversity.
Now that you know the basics of my work ethic, I would like to inform you on more about me and who I am. I am six feet four inches tall, 180 pounds. I bench 190 pounds, squat 405 pounds and power clean 235 pounds. My informal 40 time is 4.9 (not recent, I have increased in agile and speed.) I play varsity football, basketball and track for Francis Scott Key High School located in Carroll County Maryland. I have played varsity football my junior and senor year of high school and I played JV my other years. I also played rec. league football with the Junior Eagles for 8 years. I have also played varsity basketball for three years now. I am currently captain of my position at outside linebacker. My other positions include tight end, defensive end and some offensive tackle. My involvement as an officer in the National honor society and ambassador to the National Society of High School Scholars expresses my leadership skills and involvement in my school and community.
My future goals include playing football for a division II or III College, receive a partial or full academic or athletic scholarship, and receive a degree in engineering. I also desire to become a major attribute to my country by becoming an officer in the USA military.
Once again, I would like to reiterate my athletic goals: I desire to become a college football player; once on the team I would be a major attribute by contributing to the team’s success through pushing my-self and my teammates past mental and physical limits allowing us to achieve anything.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, I chose to write in this style so you could get a feel and understanding of who I am, my work ethic and personality.
Thanks
