Marcus Villafane '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marcus Villafane, I graduated high-school in 2014 from Bradford Christian Academy located  in Bradford, Massachusetts. I played football at Timberlane Regional high school and for a club team out of Dover, New Hampshire (Seacoast Titans). I am a three way varsity starter at Running Back/Receiver, safety, and Kick/Punt return. I am also a 4 year Varsity starter. My senior year I helped lead my team to an undefeated season 10-0 with 1,187 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns, I also contributed on defensive at the safety position with 53 tackles, 3 sacks, and 8 interceptions 3 in which I brought back for touchdowns. As a team we also went on to win a NH state title as I helped contribute with 141 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns along with 5 receptions for 127 yards. 
I have four main focuses in life that I always give 100% Faith, Family, Education, and Football. I strive to be the best I can be in every area and aspect of my life. I am a student athlete that takes his education very seriously. God has blessed me with an athletic ability that I can use to help pay for my education. I am a very strong leader who teammates and coaches can rely on to make good plays and decisions on and off the field. 
My goal is to be the best I can be in the class room and on the field. I’m not the biggest or strongest athlete but what I can promise is that I will be the quickest, fastest, hardest working athlete that will give his all, and always give 100% in every aspect of the game. I’m the type of player that will always push himself to reach a goal or past his limits to achieve a greater goal. I will never give up on any play no matter what the situation is or what the score board says. I will never give up on my teammates or my coaches. I take every opportunity that comes my way to better myself as a student and as an athlete. I guarantee I will be the hardest working athlete for any coach that gives me the opportunity and privilege to play for him.
