Personal Statement

Football has always been my favorite sport. I started playing Somerville, MA Pop Warner when I was 10 and have stuck with it ever since. I love every part of the game and want nothing more than to play it in college. My junior year I led the team in tackles and was named defensive player of the year and was nominated by my coaches as a conference all star . Brookline, MA had its most successful season since 2003. I played almost every snap of the game at lineback/ defensive end/ offensive guard/ long snapper. In college I see myself as a linebacker and may do some long snapping as well. This offseason I have been training with Coach Chad Hunt to work on my speed and explosiveness. I have also been in the weight room every day. School is not the easiest thing for me but I try really hard and get decent grades. During the summer I am a lifeguard at the high school pool. Again college football has been a dream of mine since I was 10.
