My name is Landon Severn. A week before my senior season I tore my ACL, but I knew that I didn’t want to give up on my dream of playing college football. I was accepted to play at East Coast Prep’s post-graduate program for the fall 2022 football season. I have worked relentlessly since my surgery to not just get my body back to where it was before my injury but come back stronger. After only 8 months, I have achieved this. While rehabbing my knee, I also used my time to work on my upper body strength. I progressed from 17 reps at 225lbs to 23 reps at 225lbs on my bench press. Training my legs was daunting at first but they are as strong as ever and I have all of my explosiveness back. I am dedicated to making my dream of playing college football a reality.
