Personal Statement
My name is Ayinde Williams. I am a football player who is coachable and knows what it takes to be successful. I have overcome personal challenges while continuing to persevere. I am willing to learn and perfect what I am taught. As a result, I was nominated for captain on my high school team.
I am versatile player and have accelerated in multiple positions including defensive end, tight end, outside linebacker, fullback, defensive tackle, and offensive line (except center). I know I am committed and capable of playing football in college. I am a determined individual and team player. Once I have set my mind to something, I do everything in my power to make it happen. I am the first to arrive and last to leave and look forward to practice each day.
My physique, and being 6’2” 225 lbs. is what I consider ‘natural’, given I am a vegetarian. Pork, red meat, and chicken have not been a part of my diet since birth. I work hard and take pride in my health and who I am.
When it comes to choosing a school, I have many options. I am looking at schools along the entire east coast across to the Midwest, but am not limiting myself to other potential options. My goal is to find the right school that is the best fit for me both academically and athletically. My top two choices of major right now, though they may change, are business and psychology.
I look forward to competitively playing college football and furthering my skills and education under the leadership of my coaches and professors. I want to be on a team where I can make an impact and lead by example.
