What makes me different? I am a motivated ,driven, coachable, young man. My environment influenced me for the best, but did not ultimately mold me into who I am today. I was born in a urban city where there is a dying hope to succeed; where too many young men became apart of that environment and personal circumstances. I have been raised to be better than where I came from, taught to learn from my mistakes and the mistakes of others. I have a strong support system who push me to reach for things that would never be attainable to a young man like me; young, black, and less fortunate in all aspects of my life. Being the youngest of five children, I watched my siblings veer off in different directions in life. I however, am the first male in my immediate family who chooses to walk the path of my educational and athletic future. I contribute a lot of my values to my hard-working yet sacrificing single mother. Through her undying faith, and her consistent determination to provide options, stability, and diligence towards success; no matter the obstacles.
My collegiate goals and aspirations extend to no limit. I want to play in the next level of football at both College and professional status. I wish to complete and continue my education. I will represent the university with the up most respect and dignity.
