David Manoukian '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8", 160 lb Linebacker/Fullback from Watertown, MA. I am currently in my sophomore year and will graduate in the class of 2021. I started playing football when I was 7 years old and have been starting at multiple positions at all three phases of the game on Watertown High school's Varsity team since my freshman year.  I have been pronounced as Defensive Player of the year and the Most Valuable Player during the past two years, during which I also set the school's record for most tackles, with 120 total tackles and 98 solo tackles during my sophomore year and 110 solo tackles during my junior year.  I also earned League All Star selection during my junior season. It is special to me and unprecedented in my school's history to earn a starting position as a freshman, earn a team black-shirt for three years in a row (earned for hard work, dedication, and outstanding performance) and most importantly, winning the MVP award as early as during my sophomore season.  I have been team leader and was selected as team captain during the last two years. I also played basketball and currently am the captain of the varsity wrestling team and spring track. I have a 4.03GPA, am a member of the National Honor Society and am enrolled in 4 honors classes and 1 AP class. I have received the presidential award for community service for the past 4 years, and am currently the treasurer of my class. 

I am searching for a school where I can continue my higher education in a great academic setting and continue playing football at a competitive level. I am interested in playing in a DI, DII, or DIII school anywhere in New England or the North-East, although I will absolutely consider other schools with outstanding academic reputation closer to home and with less out of pocket expenses.
