I am a four-year varsity starter at quarterback and have above a 3.3 grade point. I was named captain of Cranbrook football team as a junior and I have the privilege of leading the Cranbrook football team as captain this year as a senior. Although I have done well in academics and sports, I am most proud of my work with the charity I founded as a sophomore. My charity is Edge-A-Head (edgeahead.com) and the mission of the charity is to provide online tutoring for inner city athletes. I will base my college of choice on college’s academic programs and if I have the privilege to play football, I believe I can provide leadership and skills to support a winning program. I decided to attend Cranbrook because of the difficulty of the academics. Cranbrook has been rated in the top ten academic private schools in the country. Cranbrook is a boarding school with attending students from 44 countries and 15 states. Cranbrook was not noted for their football program. At quarterback I started varsity as a freshman and our record first year record was 3 wins and 6 losses. In my junior year we won 9 games with 1 lose and made it to the regionals. Last year we had only one senior on the team and I really enjoyed being contributing member of the football program turnaround. I am looking forward to this coming year playing with a full legitimate senior class. I received several awards last year and my stats and awards are listed on the first slide of my highlight film.
