Personal Statement

It's been a dream of mine to play college football ever since I was a little kid.  I have been chasing this dream since I was 5 years old.  Throughout my career I have been very coachable and always give my best effort in every practice, so when game time comes it's time to let loose.
 I would love to utilize my leadership skills I have learned over the years being captain on the football team and participating in a conference specially designed for leadership skills.  Being elected on our school's Athletic Leadership Council my freshman year opened up many opportunities.  I have worked my way up to becoming a captain on the Athletic Leadership council my senior year.
My hard work in the classroom has rewarded me with a 3.85 GPA.  Balancing academics and athletics is hard work, but I have balanced my time well over my high school career.
