Faith, Family and Football—the three words that drive me.
My name is Charles D. Brady II, known to most by just “CJ.” I am a 16 yr. old junior, Class of 2021, from Davison High School, Davison, Michigan. At Davison, I am a starting player on the Varsity Football Team. Currently at 6’, 270 lbs, I play starting C/DT for the Davison Cardinals Varsity Football Team. Most recently, I have helped lead our team to win Division District Finals in first place and Regional Finals in first place, while currently preparing for Semi-Finals competition. I have played football as a lineman since I was 7 years old and cannot imagine anywhere I would rather be than on the field.
I am a good student in school and take my academics seriously, juggling a rigorous academic schedule and a strict athletic schedule, with volunteerism in my community and extracurricular activities in between. My educational goal is to pursue my engineering degree, a goal I’ve had since I was young.
On the field I am a very aggressive, but disciplined player. I communicate very well with my team and listen intensely to my coaches, who I thank for helping me grow and be a better me every day. My goal is to continually develop and build my skills and make myself more of an asset to my team. I have a solid skill set both on offense, where I help lead one of the top offenses in the State of Michigan, and defense, and am a strong, agile and focused player.
During the off season, I participate in both powerlifting and track & field, where I throw disc and shot-put, and continuously train and workout in the gym and weight room. I maintain my readiness for football throughout the year and try to stay ready for anything that comes my way.
