Personal Statement
As a prospective college athlete there are many things I have done to prepare myself to play at the next level. The first thing you need to know about me is that I’m dedicated and love the game. I have been playing football as long as I can remember. As the son of a varsity head coach I learned from an early age that hard work and dedication can change the outcome of a game or season! In all my years as a player I have never missed a practice, meeting, film session or any other opportunity to improve. Another thing you should know about me is that I’m a team player. I have been a varsity starter the past two seasons and have always done whatever it takes to help the team win. I have contributed to the team on special teams, offense and defense. In practice I’m the guy who is always giving 110%, in the games I never want to come off the field. Probably the best memory I have of football is our team winning the Division 1 State Championship this year! We were beat my sophomore year in the first round of the playoffs and that motivated me to work all year long to help the team reach our goal. I know this season will be a challenge to make it back to the finals, but that is what motivates me to compete everyday! I know once high school is over I want to continue playing football. I have also worked hard in the classroom the past three years. I currently have a 3.7 G.P.A and I am working hard to prepare for the SAT.
