I am the youngest of four boys. Being the youngest has taught me that competition is everything. My brother’s gave me no breaks, they always said, if I want to play, I had to play hard. This pushed me to fight for everything I have ever wanted. I started playing Rocket football at the age of seven and fell in love with the game. I have always been taught to live my life with respect, for all things. I respect and love the game of football. My parents have always instilled in me that if I start something I finish it and to always give my best effort, no matter if we win or lose, it is my character in the end that others see. I have applied these concepts to all areas of my life. I build relationships based on effort and what it takes to be a person with integrity. I am a 6'2" 145-pound Sophomore-student athlete from Dowagiac, Michigan, with a 3.73 GPA.
In Rocket football, I learned about leadership and how to be an asset to my team. Football became my passion. I watched it on television, followed stats, and absorbed as much information as I could to make me a better player. Putting work in on and off the field showed me that dedication is the way to be successful in the game. I learned young that commitment to the game was critical to my success. I am always looking for ways in improve my skill set. This has continued to build my character, of being the best person I can be, and a leader for my team. I am versatile and driven, always working for the betterment of the team, that’s what makes me a great player.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I am interested in pursuing an education in Business. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to be a leader on the team.
