Personal Statement
My name is Mailk Hardy and I am a junior at North Farmington High School. To be honest how I became interested in football isn't something like out of a movie or anything. My coach Mr. Edwards asked my mother if I could play football for his team the West Bloomfield Panthers and later on that day she discussed the topic with me being an 8-year old fat kid I said yes. Off of me saying yes, that is when my life really changed at the time of me being really young, because if I said no I would not be the person I am today. I am thankful for what football introduced me to coaches like Coach Moncrief, Coach Morgan, and the rest of the coaches I've met down the road because of them teaching me not just football but life lessons and that is what I am grateful for. Also my teammates then and now, I now know that the team always got you on and off the field, and will help you and push you even if you don't feel like it, and taught me how to be a leader because through my time of me loving the sport you need to be willing to look out for your teammates and to make sure to help them what they're doing wrong, and push them always even if it doesn't look like they need it. What I want to major in is graphic design in college because of my love of creativity to draw and design so I can get a degree. My goal is to play in the NFL because I know that dream can turn into a reality if I put my all into it to keep on going and never stop working.
