Personal Statement

I am very excited to announce that I have signed with Grand Valley State University to continue my education and that I am a member of the Laker Football Family! I Thank my Lord for good health and enough ability to be able to play in college. It is a privilege to be able to play this awesome game.

Thank you to the GVSU coaching staff for recruiting me and offering me a scholarship and a place to call home for the next four years!. Thank you to Drake University, Morehead State University, Bucknell University, Hillsdale College, and Concordia-Ann Arbor for extending offers to me! Thank you to any programs which have also taken time and energy to recruit me, such as Marshall, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Lehigh, Missouri State, Harvard, Northwood , Southern Illinois, Hope, Wheaton, and more.

I have had a number of great coaches, but I especially thank Andrew Pratley, my Head Football Coach, for believing in me from the beginning. Thanks to NCSA, also!

Notes: On February 20th, 2016 , The Holland High School Theatre was awarded the Division 1 2016 MIFA (Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Association) State Championship Trophy at the State Finals at Grand Rapids Christian High School. I played Count Bobrinsky in the Mainstage production of " Strider : The Story of a Horse" (Leo Tolstoy, 1864, Russia). 2016 MIFA State Champions!!!!

My second year at Michigan. It was an awesome camp. My technique continues to improve as I am gaining more confidence. I worked out at Left Tackle and took numerous 1 on 1 reps. I was also stranded with just a towel outside the dorm while a fire alarm went off and we waited for the all-clear.:)
