Personal Statement
I enjoy being a two sport athlete playing football and wrestling. I also take great pleasure in sharing my love of these sports with young athletes. Weather it's running a practice with our Red Crusher youth wrestling club or working an off- season youth football camp. It's always fun to teach skills and work ethic to kids. The best part is watching them learn and develop.
I am currently in my second year as a referee for the Michigan Youth Wrestling Association and was chosen to work the team state championships. This experience has given me an appreciation of sports both as an athlete and an official. This perspective has helped me to mature as an athlete.
Playing football at the college level is something that I have dreamed about. I am looking to be part of a college that pushes me both academically and athletically. My work ethic has earned me our football programs Black Shirt Award for not missing an off-season workout. My leadership skills have been strengthened by serving on our football teams Leadership Council and as a Captain of the wrestling team. I believe that I have what it takes to have a positive impact on a college football program.
