Personal Statement

I am not your typical story like so many guys playing since they were 8 years old. I started playing football during my freshman year of high school. I learned a lot my first year and I ended up loving the sport and team comradery. It was at this time that I decided I was going to make it my goal to excel in this sport. I worked very hard during off season by living in the weight room, going to football camps, volunteering to help our community with my teammates and becoming more determined to be an asset to my team and school. My Sophomore year I was a starter for JV. I stuck with my goal and worked harder and became more determined for my Junior year on Varsity. I was a Starter for every game and through all my hard work I earned an Honorable Mention All Conference. I joined Powerlifting to become stronger and boost confidence. I squat the most at my school with 485 lbs and will achieve my max goal of 500 lbs before my Junior year ends. Every goal I set for myself I achieve and my goals for my Senior year are going to be difficult and will far exceed anything I have done this far...can I do this? Absolutely!! Failing is not an option.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
