Athletics has been an important part of my life and development as a person. As the son of a high school football and wrestling coach, I have been raised to believe that hard work and perseverance will take me as far as my dreams will allow. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play college football at the highest level. My goal is to challenge myself academically and athletically to be a contributing teammate on a college football team at the highest level possible.
I play football, baseball, and wrestling at Jefferson High School. My goal this wrestling season is to be a leader for the young people on my team and win a Division 2 Individual State Wrestling Title. I have not been afraid to set my goals high. But more importantly, I have not been afraid to put forth the hard work and effort that it takes to achieve these goals.
Although playing sports is an important part of my life, I have been raised to be a good student and a leader in the community. I am a member of the student council and I currently have a 3.2 GPA. I have also volunteered at the school and at the homes of elderly people in our neighborhood on several occasions. As a member of your football team, I am very proud to say that you will be getting a well rounded athlete that will be a leader in the classroom, community, and on the playing field.
