Personal Statement
My name is Jonathan Adams and I live for playing football. As the son of two disabled veteran parents I have always been taught to strive to do my best and that what we do is often times 99% mental. I take that to heart. I have played football all four years of high school but when I transferred to Muskegon last year, I had to follow the rules and sit out for one season. I practiced and trained hard with the team and assisted them in being prepared for their games during those practices, but I wasn’t able to gain any film last year. I would love to play football at a school that not only values my athletic abilities but also my academic abilities as well and I want to be a valuable member of a team because it takes a team, not one individual, to succeed in the sport that I love. I would like to go to a school that has a strong engineering program as well. I love math as much as I love football. I look forward to being an asset on your team someday soon.
