Personal Statement
My character and what I do off the field is shown on the field, completing what I set my mind to accomplish are important to me and I enjoy goals that challenge me. My coaches refer to me as dedicated and a focused team player. Kickers can be thought of as solo, but I'm there for the team to win in any way that I can help.
My athletic career started with soccer at the age of three. I played with my three older brothers for nine years, always playing up one or two age groups so my parents could watch all of us play our games every Saturday. It wasn't until I was twelve that I started playing football, and quickly learned that it is a part of me. What college I kick for after high school may be unknown, but I am 100% committed to reach my goals by staying focused and pushing away unnecessary distractions - just like when I'm kicking a 50-plus yard field goal! My coach referred to me as a "freak of nature" with 37/37 in PAT's this past season, and a "mean curve" on my kickoffs. I have spent the past year conditioning to kick further and I look forward to my future of football.
