My name is Tim Wielinga and I am going into my senior year at Paw Paw High School in Paw Paw, Michigan. I have two scholarship offers right now and hope to attain more through hard work in the classroom and on the field. I attended several camps and combines throughout the Midwest and have been placed Top 5 at my position at almost every camp/combine. I am a little over 6 feet tall, weigh about 215 pounds, run the 40 yard dash in 4.7 seconds. I'm the youngest member of the 1000 pound club in the history of Paw Paw High School. This summer I look to better myself with things such as weight lifting, speed training, and 7 on 7 passing leagues and tournaments.
As a senior, I am the team captain and a two way starter at linebacker and running back. With two years of varsity experience, I look forward to using that experience as a great advantage while playing and also being a leader for my team. My varsity coach will pair me against our opponent's best athletes weekly in different roles in order to ensure our team's success. I work very hard in the off season and in the classroom and take that determination onto the field as well. I am happy to play wherever I can in all three phases of the game to contribute to the team's success. As a junior, I was named second team all conference/division and I missed 4 regular season games due to an injury. Throughout my junior season, I was named offensive and defensive player of the week several times for my team, also getting named offensive player of the week for the whole Kalamazoo area.
I hope to play football at the highest level of competition possible where I can make a meaningful contribution to the university that best fits me. Right now my academic area of interest to study is business. I want to attend a quality school with challenging academic programs because it is very important for me to obtain my degree while gaining valuable experience and knowledge in a distinguished program.
Thanks for looking at my profile. I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully Submitted,
Tim Wielinga
